A number of organisations are marching to the Western Cape High Court in opposition of the banks' decision to unilaterally close the accounts of some of the Sekunjalo Group of Companies.
On Thursday, the Equality Court sitting in the Western Cape High Court is expected to hear how South Africa’s all-powerful banking fraternity allegedly infringed on the constitutional rights of the companies (Sekunjalo) when they systematically closed the accounts of Sekunjalo Investment Holdings (SIH) and related entities.
