Sean Hayes Says Tony Win Couldn't Have Happened Sooner

Emmy Award winner Sean Hayes now has a Tony under his belt.

The star of Good Night, Oscar , won Best Leading Actor in a Play last night.

He joked it was the first time an Oscar ever won a Tony.

He plays Oscar Levant, the once-famed pianist, composer, comedian, and actor in the Doug Wright play.

Hayes hit the Tony press room right after his big win and shared how he took on the role of the musician he calls his hero, including playing George Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue' at every show.
