I’ve said from Day 1 of the Derek Chauvin trial the manslaughter charge he was found guilty of is probably legit.
His duty is to bring criminals in to go through the courts system and his situational awareness of what was happening below him as George Floyd was dying was unacceptable.
But, all the other charges were nonsense.
He did not murder George Floyd by any true definition of the word.
I said I believed there was immense pressure for the State of Minnesota to find him guilty on all counts and it was too much for him to get a fair trial on the facts and the law.
Now I may have been proven right.
