Christopher Asher Wray is an American lawyer who has served as Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) since 2017. From 2003 to 2005 Wray served as Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Criminal Division in the George W. Bush Administration. From 2005 to 2016 he was a litigation partner with the law firm King & Spalding.
