Reports: Bayer offers $10B for Roundup settlements

Bayer is discussing $10 billion in payouts to the tens of thousands of plaintiffs who say their cancer was caused by the herbicide Roundup, according to reports from Bloomberg and Investor's Business Daily. Bayer's lawyers have said the company will set aside $8 billion to resolve current cases and reserve $2 billion for future claims, five people with direct knowledge of the negotiations told Bloomberg.
