Boeing’s bad January: Zero orders, major delivery decline

As it continues to wrestle with the grounding of its 737 Max, Boeing on Tuesday reported a dismal start to 2020.  Boeing (NYSE: BA) had no orders in January. According to archival data on the company’s website, that was the first time it had been blanked on the order front in January since 1962.  Last January, the company secured 45 net orders, though it would end the 2019 with negative 87 net orders after factoring in cancellations and accounting protocols.  Orders were slowed significantly…
