Capstone Turbine Corporation (NASDAQ:CPST), the maker of clean-energy microturbines, is going Indy again. The company announced Monday that its colors of green and white will again be displayed on the No. 88 Andretti Harding Steinbrenner Autosport car of Colton Herta for the 2020 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season. Capstone first appeared on the sidepods of the sophomore driver’s car in 2019 on the streets of Toronto and continued through to the season finale race where Herta scored a victory from pole position for the then Harding Steinbrenner Racing team. The partnership also extends the relationship between Andretti Autosport and Capstone, which began in May 2019 with driver Alexander Rossi. Genprex Inc (NASDAQ:GNPX) has closed a 17.5 million offering priced at-the-market. The clinical-stage gene therapy company sold 5 million shares at a price of $3.50 per share, and it plans to use the proceeds to advance its drug development programs, for working capital and for general corporate purposes.In addition, the company said, the funds will help fund Genprex’s planned clinical trial of Oncoprex immunogene therapy combined with pemrolizumab (marketed as Keytruda by Merck & Co) in non-small cell lung cancer and in its pre-clinical gene therapy for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, which it recently in-licensed from the University of Pittsburgh. ElectraMeccanica Vehicles Corp (NASDAQ:SOLO) offered a corporate update on Monday that projected year-over-year revenue growth and teased a mid-2020 launch for its single-seater electric vehicle. The Vancouver company expects revenue for the fourth quarter to range between $140,000 to $160,000, compared to $141,901 a year earlier. ElectraMeccanica said it plans to launch its flagship EV, the SOLO, in Los Angeles later this year before expanding to other west coast cities. The SOLO is a three-wheeled single-passenger car that boasts a top range of 100 miles and speeds of 82 miles per hour on a 17.3-kilowatt hour battery pack. Canntab Therapeutics Limited (CSE:PILL) (OTCMKTS:CTABF) revealed Monday that Health Canada has granted it a cannabis research licence for continuing the research and development of its pharmaceutical-grade cannabis hard pill formulations at its Markham Ontario facility. In a statement, the Canadian company said that after getting a standard processing licence and sale for medical purposes licence from Health Canada, Canntab will begin full-scale manufacturing of its suite of precision oral dose products.The firm is a leading innovator in cannabinoid and terpene blends in hard pill form for therapeutic application. The piece, which appeared in the publication “Antioxidant and Redox Signaling,” reported on a series of studies of ATB-352, the company’s derivative of the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) ketoprofen. The studies show that ATB-352 induces greater pain relief than ketoprofen in a well-characterized animal model of surgical pain. Like ketoprofen, ATB-352 treats pain by releasing hydrogen sulfide, but Antibe’s alternative is being developed to also avoid some of its side effects, namely damage to the gastrointestinal tract. Parallax Health Sciences Inc (OTCMKTS:PRLX) announced Monday it has reached a settlement that releases the company of all potential liabilities and litigation with the previous owner of RoxSan Pharmacy Inc. Under the settlement terms, a contingent liability in the principal and interest of about $25 million has been canceled, the company said in a statement.  Parallax said the terms include a payment of $4 million to be paid over the next two years and delivery of 10 million shares of restricted stock of the company to the owner of RoxSan.
