A month after the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo said Chapter 11 bankruptcy is imminent, it became official Friday morning. Bankruptcy documents were filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York, claiming the diocese owes money to at least 200 entities who are listed on 33 pages of its petition for bankruptcy.
