GlobeX Data Ltd (OTCMKTS:SWISF) announced Monday that it has received a dramatic influx in demand for its Swiss-hosted cybersecurity solutions as more and more people work remotely in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19).  When employees work from home, they often rely on unsecured internet connections, creating a need for companies to protect their communications. As a result, GlobeX is working with resellers around the globe due to an increase in demand for its secure email and document management cloud services.  READ: GlobeX Data sees increase for its secure cloud services as more work from home amid coronavirus outbreak In the US, GlobeX is preparing for mass demand by putting partnerships in place with its main reseller in the country as part of an effort to limit the damages of cyberattacks. "With a sharp increase in office employees working from home in unsecured networks, there is a sharp increase in demand for secure emails services and document management tools such as ours, like DigitalSafe, Custodia and PrivaTalk Messenger,” CEO Alain Ghiai said in a statement. “The demand from the USA is starting to increase sharply and we are working around the clock with our distributor in order to prepare them for the surge in demand they are facing for identity theft protection and secure cloud services.” Globally, the company has signed distribution agreements in nearly a dozen countries and is working on large, multi-million dollar and multiyear projects spearheaded by financial institutions and governments. “Our operations remain normal and our staff is taking all the precautions necessary and recommended by the [World Health Organization] in order to remain safe from COVID-19. There is a definite increase in secure services and the company is preparing for this increase, in partnership with our distributors worldwide." Headquartered in New York and Toronto, GlobeX has developed a suite of cloud-based storage, disaster recovery, document management and encrypted email tools for communication.
