Fourteen health centers throughout the Islands will be receiving more than $10 million to bolster their capabilities in fighting against the coronavirus, U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz announced Tuesday. The $10,037,995 in funding can be used for several purposes including for the detection, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the coronavirus, and was disbursed as part of the recently passed CARES Act.
