Virgin Orbit First Space Launch This Weekend

British businessman Richard Branson's Virgin Orbit plans to launch a demonstration payload into space this weekend, using a rocket launched from under the wing of a Boeing 747. Long Beach, California-based Virgin Orbit said the window for its launch demo mission starts on Sunday, May 24, and extends through Monday, May 25, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Pacific time, each day.
