Allot Ltd (NASDAQ:ALLT) has launched its new BusinessSecure solution to help telecommunications service providers protect their small and medium-sized business (SMB) and enterprise customers from malware, phishing, ransomware, crypto-mining and other cybersecurity threats, while boosting revenue. In a statement on Tuesday, the smart network intelligence solutions company said BusinessSecure is the “newest member” of the Allot Secure family — the world’s largest deployed network-based security service for the mass market with over 23 million paying customers. It includes solutions for a unified experience on devices that are on mobile networks (NetworkSecure), fixed home networks (HomeSecure), public Wi-Fi networks (EndpointSecure), and for IoT devices (IoTSecure). The solution offers a network-based antivirus service that requires no security expertise and needs no installation on business or employee devices. Additionally, Allot BusinessSecure hardens the customer premises equipment (CPE) to further protect against many types of vulnerabilities. Through the unified BusinessSecure application, businesses can assign devices to a device group and apply content control to the selected device group or individual device to tailor ‘allowed’ content during working hours. BusinessSecure includes a self-diagnostics chatbot that greatly reduces the time and effort required to troubleshoot network problems. “Over the last few years, Allot has successfully helped leading communication service providers all over the world deliver network-based cybersecurity solutions to their subscribers,” Angel Fernandez AVP of Security Solutions and Product Management for Allot said in a statement. “Now, CSPs can generate new revenue from their SOHO, SMB and Enterprise customers with similar services that are designed for businesses," he added. The company said Allot BusinessSecure delivers “simple, reliable security for the connected business.” This is achieved through a small firmware agent installed on the business router, supported by the Allot Secure cloud, and a mobile application. “These elements, working in concert, block both external and internal attacks and provide unprecedented visibility into the network,” said the company. Allot said BusinessSecure is available immediately. Contact the author Uttara Choudhury at uttara@proactiveinvestors.com Follow her on Twitter: @UttaraProactive
