Amazon is making thousands of hires permanent in Texas after COVID-19

Amazon is going all in with some of its recent hires under the pandemic. After bringing on more than 14,000 hires in Texas, Amazon is offering over 8,800 of the folks full-time roles in the state, according to a spokesperson. These roles include customer fulfillment and last-mile deliveries. The move is in line with the company’s broad push with hiring around COVID-19.
