In a first for the Winston-Salem financial institution, Truliant Federal Credit Union will close early this Friday in honor of Juneteenth, the date celebrated as marking the end of slavery in the U.S. In a statement to employees, Truliant’s Chief Planning Team explained its decision.  “This Friday, June 19th, we are closing our branches and offices at 1 p.m. in observation of Juneteenth, a day of celebration in the African-American community that marks our country’s second Independence Day,”…
