New bar and restaurant opens in Avondale

A new bar and restaurant has opened at a prominent intersection in Avondale. Spring Street Bar & Grill held its soft bar-only opening over the weekend, and the kitchen will open July 1 just in time for the holiday weekend. Spring Street is taking 1,500 square feet at 4100 Fourth Ave. S. in the former Rowe's Service Station spot. The corner property also includes roughly 3,000 square feet of outside patio dining.
