The Kansas City Parks and Recreation Board has voted unanimously to remove developer J.C. Nichols' name from the Country Club Plaza fountain and parkway that have been the scene of recent protests after the killing of George Floyd. The Tuesday decision came hours after Nichols' family and the charitable foundation publicly endorsed changing the name.
