In Alabama, 672,000 jobs were saved by Paycheck Protection Program loans through the U.S. Small Business Administration. That’s according to a survey by Business.org based on data from the U.S. Treasury Department as of July 16. The deadline for PPP applications was Aug. 8 In Alabama, 65,806 PPP loans totaling $6,191,565,635 were provided through the CARES Act so far.
