Carnival cancels more cruises in Australia, New Zealand

Carnival PLC & Corp (LON:CCL)(NYSE:CCL) has announced further cancellations of cruises in Australia and New Zealand due to travel restrictions. Its Princess Cruises and P&O Cruises Australia arms are extending their pause in the region through December 12 and 2 respectively. READ: Carnival cancels more Princess cruises because of coronavirus border and port limits The Carnival Spirit and Carnival Splendor ships are not set to sail either until December 2. The news comes a day after another two Princess Cruises leaving in early 2021, a ’world cruise’ sailing from North America and a South American cruise leaving from Australia, were cancelled. Earlier this month, Carnival’s P&O arm extended its pause on sailings by an extra month until November 12, joining the moratorium on all its Alaska, Canada, New England, Europe cruises from North America for the rest of 2020, all cruises in an out of Australia until mid-December.
