Chalice Gold Mines changes name to Chalice Mining Limited to reflect new Julimar multi-element discovery

Chalice Gold Mines Limited (ASX:CHN) has formally changed its name to Chalice Mining Limited, following the approval of a special resolution by Shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held 25 November 2020. The company has received a Certificate of Registration on Change of Name from the Australian Securities and Investment Commission which is effective 3 December 2020. Julimar discovery The name change follows the company’s major PGE-nickel-copper-cobalt-gold discovery at the Julimar Project in Western Australia in March 2020. The company also recently received firm commitments for a $100 million placement to sophisticated, professional and institutional investors and announced a Share Purchase Plan (SPP) of up to $10 million – for a combined capital raising of up to $110 million. Looking forwards The ASX code for Chalice remains unchanged (ASX: CHN) and it anticipates that there will be no change to the OTCQB code. The company’s new website address is www.chalicemining.com.
