Kin Mining NL (ASX:KIN) (FRA:8KM) has received further significant assay results from recent in-fill reverse circulation (RC) drilling, which indicate significant widths and grades of up to 10 metres at 10.8 g/t at the northern end of the Bruno Lewis deposit.  The results at the deposit, one of the cornerstone deposits at its 100%-owned Cardinia Gold Project in WA, confirm the potential to upgrade and expand the current 311,000 ounces resource.  The updated mineral resource estimate for the Bruno-Lewis deposit incorporating all the 2020 drilling data is on schedule for completion in March 2021 quarter.  Best results from Bruno-Lewis Kin Mining managing director Andrew Munckton said: “These results from the northern half of the Bruno-Lewis deposit are some of the best results we have seen from Bruno-Lewis and from the wider Cardinia area. “While we knew that the north-east dipping lodes that we targeted with this drilling were the source of wide zones of generally lower grade mineralisation further south at Lewis, the intersection of broad high-grade zones at the Bruno end of the deposit, across a substantial strike length, is an extremely pleasing outcome and reflective of the excellent work carried out by the geological team. “These results reinforce that the Cardinia area in general – and this northern part of Bruno in particular – contains significant areas of high-grade mineralisation both close to surface and at depth. “The Phase 3 drilling program results continue to demonstrate the exceptional endowment, and enhance the underlying value of the Cardinia Gold Project. New exploration targets in 2021 “This drilling will be incorporated as part of a new mineral resource estimate for Bruno-Lewis scheduled for the March quarter, that is anticipated to enhance our project-wide mineral resource inventory beyond the 1.15-million-ounce figure announced in December 2020. “The company has a number of exciting new exploration targets to test at Cardinia in 2021 that have similar geology, alteration and mineralisation indicators to those tested during 2020 in the Phase 3 program. “The high-grade results delivered from the recent Bruno-Lewis drilling campaign provide further evidence that the Cardinia area is a major mineralised gold camp, similar in scale and style to other multi-million-ounce gold camps along the Keith-Kilkenny Shear Zone that have supported other gold operations for many years.” Drilling results A total of three diamond and 76 RC drill-holes were completed at the Bruno-Lewis prospect in late 2020 for a total of 7,054 metres. On 15 January 2021, the company reported strong mineralised intercepts in the southern part of Bruno Lewis from the initial 38 RC holes and 3 diamond holes from this program. In the northern part of the deposit, 36 of the 38 RC holes drilled, all intersected ore grade mineralisation. Assays for two remaining RC holes are scheduled to be completed next week. The drilling program was designed to confirm the grade and position of the mineralised lodes, improve confidence in the continuity of this style of mineralisation and to upgrade and increase the Inferred Mineral Resource estimate of 2.6 million tonnes at 1.17 g/t gold for 96,000 ounces. Significant zones of shallow high-grade mineralisation include: 10 metres at 10.8 g/t gold from 15 metres; 14 metres at 6.09 g/t from 39 metres; 6 metres at 7.97 g/t from 26 metres and 5 metres at 7.58 g/t Au from 59 metres; 11 metres at 4.24 g/t from 74 metres; and 16 metres at 4.15 g/t from 40 metres. Additional zones of wider, lower grade mineralisation with sporadic higher grades include: 15 metres at 1.47 g/t from 38 metres; 23 metres at 1. 05g/t from 52 metres including 7 metres at 2.76 g/t from 55 metres; 12 metres at 1.18 g/t from 99 metres, including 1 metre at 6.90g/t from 109 metres; 8 metres at 2.73 g/t from 40 metres; 7 metres at 2.44 g/t from 46 metres, including 3 metres at 4.94 g/t from 46 metres; 7 metres at 1.43 g/t from 36 metres; and 25 metres at 0.78 g/t from 43 metres, including 4 metres at 2.53 g/t gold from 43 metres and 5 metres at 1.23 g/t gold from 56 metres.
