Elon Musk's latest thing is a Tesla-built robot that's 'intended to be friendly'

Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk on Thursday said the company is building a humanoid robot that uses the same artificial intelligence that helps to bring a level of autonomy to its vehicles. The announcement came at the tail end of Tesla's annual AI Day in which Musk and engineers talk about all of the ways that the Palo Alto-based company is using artificial intelligence.
