PHOTOS: Stanford nurses strikes gets off to rowdy start

Hundreds of nurses with Stanford Health Care and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford showed up for their first strike day in a partying mood. The nurses were among the 5,000 members of Stanford's nursing staff to go out on strike. The reason: they want a new contract that takes into consideration issues like burnout and exhaustion.
