*Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds* have launched a crowdfunder for their road crew.

The band were due to play a world tour in 2020, and were all prepped and ready go when the pandemic broke.

With those dates removed from the schedule, the group's long time road crew saw their income reduced almost to nothing.

Now a new crowdfunder has been pieced together, launched to give the road crew some sense of financial support.

The Crowdfunder website states: “This means work for our crew has vanished. As freelancers there has been little or no support on offer to them from the authorities, and available work elsewhere is currently almost non-existent. We have supported our direct crew as best as we can, but we thought we’d also have a bit of fun with a prize draw to help raise funds for them.”

All funds will go towards the basic living costs of freelance crew members and their families, and it will be augmented by a prize draw featuring over 100 prizes.

In all, the prizes range from signed guitars to gift vouchers, limited edition prints, and more.
