CBFC reverses decision on certifying regional films

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has reversed a directive that required all applications for certifying Hindi dubbed versions of regional language films to be submitted exclusively to the Mumbai office. The new notification states that the certification for the Hindi version of a regional film will now take place at the office where the original film is certified.
