'Dune 2' records HIGHEST opening of 2024

Dune: Part Two, directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya, earned $81.5 million at the North American box office and $97 million internationally in its opening weekend. The film is now the first major hit of 2024 and also a record opening for its director and lead stars including Chalamet, Austin Butler and Rebecca Ferguson.
