White House plans massive boost to IRS enforcement

Officials plan a major increase in enforcement as a central component of the tax proposal they will unveil this week alongside a $1.8 trillion spending package, which calls for hundreds of billions of dollars for child care, universal pre-kindergarten and other priorities.
