NYC is ready to give kids 5-11 COVID vax starting Thursday, mayor says

City-run sites will begin giving the Pfizer shots to kids ages 5-11 on Thursday and the city's public schools will offer the vaccine to that age group starting Monday, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Wednesday.
