GHMC polls: Parties ride on freebies, but where’s the money?

Desperate to win the GHMC elections, major political parties are promising the moon to voters. But, many of the promises are unlikely to be fulfilled as they require thousands of crores of rupees which neither the corporation nor the state government have.
