Consensus between farmers and govt on two points, other two to be discussed in Jan 4 meet: Tomar

Union agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the government has agreed to resolve the concerns of protesting farmers over the rise in power tariff and penalties for stubble burning at the sixth round of discussions. However, the deadlock still continous over the repeal of the three new laws and legal guarantee on MSP. Tomar said that these two issues will now be taken up in the next meeting scheduled for January 4.
