Bengal: ‘Action against Alapan Bandyopadhyay is bad in law and only to harass an officer’

Former bureaucrats on Tuesday felt that Bengal’s ex-chief secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay was a victim of a Centre-state political crossfire, but the charges against him will not stand up to judicial scrutiny.
