Hit and run: Cops junk ‘race’ and ‘chase’ theories in Ahmedabad

A day after a woman was killed and three others of her family — her husband and two children — were injured after they were run over by a speeding car, the cops on Wednesday junked the claims of the accused, Parv Shah, that he was being chased by police personnel in a private vehicle. They also said that no other car driver was racing with the accused.
