Mamata Banerjee sends ‘Hasina Di’ thank you note for mangoes

Chief minister Mamata Banerjee has profusely thanked Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for gifting her ‘Haribhanga’ mangoes, a variety indigenous to the neighbouring nation, which she “had never tasted before”. In her July 8 letter to “Hasina Di”, Banerjee said the precious gift from Rangpur, Bangladesh, brought with them “your love”.
