India reports 1,59,632 Covid cases, 327 deaths in the last 24 hours

India on Saturday reported 1,59,632 new Covid-19 cases, up by 11% since yesterday, while the active cases rose to 5,90,611, according to the Union health ministry data. There are 3,623 Omicron cases in India with 23 states reporting the new Covid-19 strain. Maharashtra continues to be the worst-affected state with 1,009 cases followed by Delhi, which has 513 infections.
