Mumbai: Ranes’ statement in Salian case recorded over 9 hours

Union minister Narayan Rane on Saturday alleged CM Uddhav Thackeray had called him up twice after the deaths of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his talent manager Disha Salian and dissauded him from speaking out about the two cases. Rane and his son, MLA Nitesh Rane, were present at Malwani police station for nearly nine hours on Saturday in connection with an FIR lodged against them for making defamatory statements about Salian.
