Man beheads friend over Rs 500 in Assam village

A 40-year-old man beheaded his 55-year-old friend over a spat for just Rs 500 in Assam's Sonitpur district on Monday night and walked about 10 km with the severed head and a machete, the murder weapon, to surrender at Rangapara police station in the early hours of Tuesday.
