Himachal Pradesh's Palampur on way to becoming 'tulip city' of country

Encouraged by the public response and success of growing tulips in Palampur, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) - Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT) here has planted over 40,000 tulip bulbs of various colours in an effort to promote Palampur as "tulip city" of India.
