Supreme Court to reconsider 1962 ruling on Bohra practice

The Supreme Court on Friday held that its earlier constitution bench judgment allowing Dawoodi Bohra community to excommunicate its dissidents needed to be re-examined and referred the case to be tagged with nine-judge bench hearing on entry of women in Sabarimala temple and other issues relating to judicial review in the matter of religious faith.
