Spiti villages, located above 14,000 feet, face water scarcity; villagers in Himachal Pradesh worried about future

With scanty rainfall and negligible winter snow, many villages of Spiti sub-division in tribal Lahaul-Spiti district in Himachal are facing drought-like conditions due to which people are worried about their main cash crop of green pea and barley.
