Monsoon to hit Telangana in 48 hours: IMD

The state is likely to keep its date with the monsoon, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting its arrival within the next 48 hours (June 21). Monsoon winds will start entering Southern Telangana, with parts of Mahbubnagar, Gadwal, Nalgonda and Suryapet receiving thundershowers on June 20 itself.​
