TDP slams TTD for construction of temple in ecologically sensitive area

Opposition TDP on Thursday raised the issue of the Lord Venkateswara temple being built on the mangrove forest area in Maharashtra's Navi Mumbai, asking why did the trust board of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) decide to violate environmental norms by accepting the land parcel in the ecologically sensitive area in glaring violation of Coastal Regulation Zone.
