Man strikes truce with wife’s lover, she ends life

A married woman in Junagadh district died by suicide after being driven to take the extreme step by her husband and paramour. The woman had been in an extra-marital affair and was thrashed by her husband in front of her lover. Her brother filed a complaint against the husband and lover, who have been booked under IPC sections for abetment to suicide and domestic violence. The investigation will reveal the duration of the affair and when the husband became aware of it.
