Light the beacons! Gondor calls for aid! Or at least it might sometime next year, because Amazon's long-awaited Lord of the Rings series finally has a release date. The series, which was announced back in 2017 and began filming in February 2020, will arrive on Amazon Prime September 2, 2011.
