Pitru Pakash 2022: Date, significance, puja and rituals at home

The Hindu calendar states that Pitru Paksha begins in the month of Bhadrapada on the Purnima Tithi of Shukla Paksha and concludes on the Amavasya Tithi of Krishna Paksha. The rituals carried out during this time are thought to aid the souls of our ancestors in achieving moksh, or salvation.
