Asian Markets Mostly Lower

Asian stock markets are trading mostly lower on Tuesday, following the negative cues from Wall Street overnight, as Treasury yields and the U.S. dollar jumped on concerns over quicker policy tightening after President Joe Biden announced his intent to nominate Jerome Powell for a second term as Federal Reserve Chair. The support from crude oil prices is limiting the downside.
