Yemen's Houthi militants fire drones assaults at Riyadh after Saudi-proposed truce

(MENAFN) On Thursday, Apr. 1 Yemen's Houthi militants fired four bomb-laden drones in the direction of the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh, around a week after the kingdom proposed a truce to the Yemeni militia. Yehya Sarea, Houthi military spokesperson, stated in a report aired by the outfit's al-Masirah TV: "the attack hit sensitive targets in Riyadh accurately." Saudi Arabia hasn't made any remarks on the alleged assault until now. If affirmed, the assult would be the first since Saudi Arabia proposed a UN-directed truce to the Houthis the past week, which the Houthis rejected as "nothing new in it."
