Arab League, Parl't voice full solidarity with Jordan

(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, April 3 (KUNA) -- The Cairo-based Arab League on Saturday expressed full solidarity with all measures taken by the Jordanian leadership to preserve the Kingdom's security and stability.In a statement, the League's Secretary General Ahmad Abu Al-Gheit affirmed his confidence in the wisdom of the Jordanian leadership and its keenness on safeguarding the country in parallel with respecting the law and constitution.King Abdullah II has a great status among Jordanians and on the Arab level as well, as all know his loyalty and big role in serving Arab causes, Abu Al-Gheit said.The League's Chief stressed the necessity of standing against any attempts aiming to destabilize interior situations and weaken countries.Meanwhile, President of the Arab Parliament Adel Al-Assoumi affirmed full standing with Jordan in all measures and decisions taken by King Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein to preserve security and stability of the Kingdom.He confirmed that Jordan's security and stability are main pillars of the joint Arab action.
