Jordanian king condemns "aggression" against Muslims in Jerusalem in Ramadan

(MENAFN) On Monday, Apr. 26 King Abdullah II of Jordan condemned the "aggression" against the Muslims in Jerusalem in the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The king shared his remarks at an assembly with Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Nayef Al Hajraf, in which they talked about ways to bolster collaboration and tactical partnership between Jordan and Gulf nations. Aggressive fighting broke out between Israeli security forces and Muslim demonstrators in East Jerusalem on Saturday, wounding dozens of people. A report by the Royal Hashemite Court said that the assembly also tackled the most recent Arab and regional progresses, foremost of which is the Palestinian matter and the advances in Jerusalem.
