Jordan, Palestine demand more int�l attempts to stop Israel occupation

(MENAFN) A declaration by the Jordanian Foreign Ministry said that on Sunday, May. 23 Jordan and Palestine asked for increasing international attempts to stop the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories. The remarks were made at an assembly between Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his visiting Palestinian counterpart Riyad al-Maliki in Amman, where both found a just peace in the region on solving the Palestinian suffering and fulfilling all the legal rights of the Palestinians. In their assembly, both ministers called for sustained organizing and consultation in activating an effectual international stance to stop the occupation and accomplish peace on the basis of the two-state resolution in line with international law and the Arab Peace Initiative. The accomplishment of the international and regional attempts in ending the Israeli violent on the Gaza Strip and reaching a truce was stressed by Safadi.
