Egyptian FM convenes with Abbas to talk about condition in Palestine

(MENAFN) On Monday, May. 24 Egypt�s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry convened with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank city of Ramallah and talked about the condition in the Palestinian lands. Abbas informed Shoukry of the most recent updates in the Palestinian territories and the ties that the Palestinian leadership has with the United States, reported the official Palestinian news agency WAFA. The Palestinian President hailed Egypt�s attempts in collaboration between the Arab states and the U.S. administration "to stop the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people." It noted that Abbas expressed thanks to Shoukry for offering USD500 million for rebuilding what had been demolished in the latest Israeli air raids on the Gaza Strip.
