ARIA NOIR Completes Shooting of Music Video in Kyiv, Ukraine

The production of the company's signature song "Aria Noir," which embodies beauty, design, grace, and drama, included four model-actors and two ballet dancers who performed in the National Opera of Ukraine.

ARIA NOIR says that its production team is especially proud of the video given its often difficult road to completion. The war in Ukraine and its impact on the population delayed the video's production.
"We had to find and collect our team members in one place for the project, which was not an easy task," says Tetyana Bolgar, the music video's casting director and project manager. "A lot of female models and actresses left the country when the war started or moved to safer regions of Ukraine. Some male models and actors were fighting or volunteering, and the production team had to travel to Kyiv from the west. They had no doubts about joining the project because they were creative artists who appreciate great works of art, which ‘Aria Noir' is."
The company states that while some crew members were reluctant to participate because the song was in Russian, they were able to overcome this obstacle so that the show would go on.
The first day of shooting took place in Kyiv on August 16, 2022. The company arranged it on short notice because the main male model was going to the frontlines to fight in the Ukrainian army the next day. "He is a professional actor, a poet, and a very talented man, and we pray for him to return home safely," says ARIA NOIR.
The company reveals that on the first shooting day, it took some great shots and videos of the male actor with three female models. "They did such an impressive job that we decided to use them again for more scenes on August 22, the second shooting day. The dancers then choreographed and performed an incredible dance. They wanted to have their interaction with the three female models from the first day, and it developed into a beautiful story that will soon see the light."
While the production's leadership wanted to change the second filming location and do it outdoors, they could not because of the current circumstances. Without special permission, it was not possible to use random city locations or the production's drone. Ultimately, another studio was rented, with both filming days at two different studios and with one of the top creativity photographers in the city.

Across the ocean in Brazil, another music video was produced for ARIA NOIR, this time by musical artist Isa Nielsen. Isa, a Brazilian/Danish guitarist, composed and played "Light of Night" and shot its video exclusively for ARIA NOIR. The video was recorded over two days at three locations, including Cama do Anchieta in Itanhaém, a beach city; the famous Avenida Paulista in São Paulo, and on Minhocão, an avenue in São Paulo. The video was released in September 2022 and can be viewed on YouTube.

ARIA NOIR also reveals that it was featured in The Untitled Magazine's 10th anniversary Rebel issue, which is available at retailers in over thirty countries. The company's sunglasses were used for the project.
